Tensilshear is a compact, rugged hand shear designed to cut straight strips from light foil, up to 1/16” thick sheet steel, up to 1/8” thick aluminum or other soft metals, or up to 3/16” thick plastic for insertion into Tensilkut master templates.
The hardened, precision ground blades are adjustable to eliminate virtually all edge burring problems. The inclined ram shearing action and material hold down bar achieve flat, non-distorted strips. A set of micrometer width gauges installed on this unit permits more accurate strip widths.
